Terms of Use & Sale

Last updated: 7 July 2026

⚠️ Template for review: replace the bracketed details below with your registered business information and have these terms checked by a solicitor before relying on them.

1. Who we are

Sparks Academy ("we", "us") is operated by [business name], [address], United Kingdom. Contact: [contact email]. These terms govern your use of sparksacademy websites, courses, mock exams and related services (the "Service").

2. Accounts and parental responsibility

The Service is designed for children preparing for UK school examinations. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, whose email address is the account login. The parent is responsible for the account, for supervising the child's use, and for keeping the password safe. You must give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Purchases, prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout. Payments are taken by our payment providers (PayPal and Stripe); we never see or store card numbers. Course access is granted to the named student account once payment is confirmed. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period.

4. Your 14-day cancellation right

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it and receive a full refund. Because our courses are digital content, when you buy you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that once the student begins the course content (starts a lesson, quiz or mock exam), the 14-day right to cancel is lost. To cancel, email [contact email] from the parent email on the account within 14 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

Course materials, questions and mock papers are our intellectual property (or licensed to us). They are for the personal use of the enrolled student only. You must not copy, share, resell, scrape or republish them, share account logins, or attempt to interfere with the Service's security or availability. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. What we promise — and what we don't

We work hard to keep the Service accurate, available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that content is error-free, or any particular exam result. Mock scores and analytics are practice indicators, not predictions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. Changes and closure

We may update course content, prices for future purchases, or these terms. If we make a material change to these terms we will notify the parent email on the account. You may close your account at any time by emailing us; paid access continues to the end of its period.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also rely on their local law and courts.
